Introduction to Lacrosse

Our next Introduction to Lacrosse session will begin in June and will be held at Macomb Town Center Park (next to Suburban Ice Arena at 25 Mile & Broughton).  Our summer Intro to Lacrosse program has become a Macomb Township Parks & Recreation Program!  Players must register through the Parks & Rec program.  Please contact them for more details at www.gomtpr.org  – Macomb Township residents will find it in the Township’s Summer REACH Brochure to be mailed soon!


Winter Indoor Lacrosse Training

Our Winter Training program is open to all Macomb Area players in Grades 3 through 8 but is mandatory for all aspiring 2018 Macomb Bucks (boys) and Macomb Cougars (girls) Spring Team Players!

Session Dates & Times: TBD but targeted for Sundays, January 7, 14, 21, 28; Feb. 11, 18, 25; March 4, 11


Fall Indoor Lacrosse Training

East Side offers a six-game Indoor Tournament format for players in grades 3 through 8. Sessions will be held for those age groups filling the minimum number of players.  Teams or individual players may register to keep their lacrosse game going through the soccer and football season!

2017 Fall Session dates will avoid all holiday conflicts and are targeted for Sundays Nov. 5, 12, 19 and Dec. 3, 10, 17

Fall Tournament Teams

Players who are enrolled in Grades 3-8 in the Fall who are interested in playing in two local lacrosse tournaments without need of an overnight stay can request a registration form via email to info@eastsidelacrosse.com.

TEAMS: We will be forming the following Fall Tournament teams:

U10 team (3rd-4th Grade); U12 team (5th-6th grade players); U14 team (7th-8th grade players)

PRACTICES: Our practice field is the Seneca Middle School stadium (21 Mile and Heydenreich).  The teams will practice on Sundays +/- 10-11:30 AM.

Summer Tournament Teams

Players finishing grades 2-8 who are interested in playing in two MI Regional Tournaments and attending our local Collegiate Lacrosse Camp can register for a summer travel team.

We are currently forming the following Summer Tournament teams for all local youth lacrosse players:

U10 team (Players finishing 2nd-4th grade) –  Lansing (7/14-16) + Traverse City (7/21-23) + College Lax Camp

U12 team (Players finishing 5th-6th grade) –  Lansing (7/14-16) + Traverse City (7/21-23) + College Lax Camp

U14 team (layers finishing 7th-8th grade) – Saginaw (6/23-25) + Traverse City (7/21-23) + College Lax Camp

PRACTICES: Our practice field is the Seneca Middle School stadium (21 Mile and Heydenreich) and Macomb Town Center Park next to Suburban Ice Arena (25 Mile & Broughton Road).  Wednesday/Thursday, June & July practice dates & evening times to be determined.

COACHES: Current collegiate player alumni will join East Side’s coaching staff at all levels.

FEES:  Summer tournament team fees will be $550.  A great value for collegiate lacrosse instruction and a minimum 10-game, tournament guarantee.  Early Bird Rate is $500 (for players registered and paid in full by April 1st).
