Summer Intro to Lacrosse Camp
INTRO TO LACROSSE LEVEL 1 CAMP FOR NEW BOYS & GIRLS IN GRADES K-9
Our Summer Lacrosse Camp became a Macomb Parks & Rec program in 2015 and remains our biggest “welcome to lacrosse!” event on our calendar. Offered every summer, the popular summer camp provides age-appropriate fundamental skills instruction for beginning boys and girls players with no spring team experience. The Summer Camp takes place over (5) one-hour-plus sessions with special instruction for both boys and girls. Collegiate player alumni will be on-staff from the women’s and men’s game making this a highly regarded beginner camp experience.
No equipment is required for the introductory sessions but players are encouraged to get their own stick ahead of the instruction so they can practice at home between our instructional sessions.
Competitive skill contests make the summer camp a fun experience for all. Parents are welcome to watch, learn, and get some great photos of their player taking their first shots on goal!
