What Do I Need to Play?
All players will need an East Side reversible jersey to play. These jerseys are good for all league play offered by East Side each year so there is no need to purchase one each year. Jerseys can be purchased at the time of registration for $25. All players will be required to come outfitted with all of the necessary protective gear incidental to the sport of lacrosse (including protective cups and mouth guards). Visit our Beginners section for lacrosse equipment information.
Are there practices or just games?
The U9 grade division will have a 30-minute skill practice before their game each evening. Each division will play a 1-hour full-field game where numbers permit.
Is there any instruction during the games?
Players can benefit from on-field instruction from coaches and referees during league play – referees will be working at all games. Parents and coaches are invited to come and watch all league games and our instruction and speak to our coaches and guest college players to find out more about lacrosse.
